Partner
I have been in the septic business since I was 17 years old. I am extremely knowledgeable in Class One effluent systems, lift stations, and standard drain fields. I began my career as a pump truck driver and have worked every angle and position with Bynum Septic, all the way up to partner. I enjoy family time, riding RZRs, lake time, and the work family I’ve built around me.
Fun fact: Georgia and Matt are married!
Erik Kind
Operational Utilization Manager
I have been married for 18 years and have two daughters, who are 14 and 12 years old. I love to travel and learn new languages. I’ve lived 10 years overseas, and speak Japanese and Norwegian fluently! I am committed to businesses running efficiently and working toward being good, responsible stewards of our environment, especially our local creeks, streams, and lakes. I have a bachelors in biology, Pre-Med/Econ, and an MBA in business strategy and marketing. I love studying history, garden landscaping, river keepers, woodworking, fixing engines, and so much more! Fun fact: I am Tenor 1 in a Swedish Men’s Choir in Atlanta.

I was born in Aurora, CO, and a fun fact about me is that I have lived in five different states. I have brought my experience, accuracy, total understanding of timeliness, and attention to detail into Bynum Septic’s office workspace. I have been married for six years and have two young boys, ages four and three, along with two wonderful stepchildren, ages eleven and ten. I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and spending time on Lake Lanier.
Mikynzi Sears

I have been at Bynum for just over two years. I’ve always been a people person, so getting to talk on the phone all day is super enjoyable for me! Bynum Septic is my first office job, and I’ve learned a lot. It’s definitely taught me how to handle things in a timely manner. While I’m not at work, I spend my time in the gym, reading, and playing with my two dogs.

I’ve been doing work in the Septic field for eight years. During my time working in the septic business, I’ve always made sure to go above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. I’ve always had a passion for riding dirt bikes, playing sports, and helping out my community.

I’ve had experience installing septic systems for 20 years. I specialize in Class One systems such as Drip Systems and Eljen Systems. I love operating heavy equipment, spending time with my family, and making sure my kids have a good life. Over the years, I’ve learned that it’s best to work smarter and find more efficient ways to ensure the job is being done well.
Jonathan Estes
Installer
I started working at Bynum Septic as a helper in 2021. In 2022, I received my Pumpers and Installers license. I’ve been installing drain fields since. The most valuable thing I’ve learned throughout my two years of working is learning how to operate heavy machinery. I’ve always enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, and spending time with my family. It feels good to come to work and be able to enjoy those things with my crew.
David Kirkland

Since starting at Bynum in 2021, I’ve learned a lot. The most valuable thing I’ve learned is that money does not come easily. You have to put forward the time and effort in order to achieve. My interests include golfing, cars, and guitars. I’m stoked that I get to come to work every day and work with the most friendly people.
